Women with children make up a big portion of the people who use PRG's housing education and counseling services and buy our affordable homes.
Since last Mothers' Day, over 200 moms have walked through PRG's doors. About half were single parents. 75 of them came to us worried about losing their homes to foreclosure, and PRG's experienced counselors helped them make plans to keep their home stable and affordable. Many more attended PRG's homebuyer workshops to learn about the homebuying process and how to make smart home buying decisions for their families.
Your support of PRG helps give each of these moms the gift of confidently buying a home, keeping her home, or finding a house where she can afford to raise her family.
The Details: Every person who contributes $10 or more to PRG via GiveMN between now and midnight on Thursday, May 5, will be entered in a random drawing to win a bright, colorful flower arrangement from Christine's Floral Touch. The winner will be notified the morning of Friday, May 6, and may arrange for local (Minneapolis) delivery or pick-up of the prize on May 6 or 7.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
