PAM empowers citizens, property owners, and decision-makers across Minnesota to preserve historic properties important to their community. We see historic places as community assets worth reinvestment, not destruction. Historic properties also preserve the unique sense of place in a community that attracts residents, business investment, and tourism. Our Minnesota Main Street program provides participating local organizations with the training, tools, information and networking they need to be successful in their downtown revitalization efforts. Historic preservation is an act of conservation--conserving precious natural and cultural resources, conserving unique communities, and conserving our environment as stewards for future generations.
