Mississippi Valley Orch is a civic-based ensemble begun in 1976 by Edward Schlueter, with performances in Columbia Heights and West St. Paul

MVO brings the Twin Cities community together both within the orchestra and its audiences. Orchestra members pay no dues, have a chance to play symphonic, large-ensemble works, and enjoy a high quality music experience. Audiences pay only what they can, allowing families and low-income individuals to attend a live musical event that both entertains and informs. Four concerts, two at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights and two at Augustana Lutheran church, can be heard every season, under the baton of our new conductor Christina Chen-Beyers. Check us out this season!
