"For an ensemble that's just a year old, there's already a beautiful sound that comes from this group. . . . I can't help but think that they've judiciously chosen their singers and their repertoire."
-Steve Staruch, Minnesota Public Radio
Founded in June of 2011, The Mirandola Ensemble was created to "promote the highest standards of choral music performance, the idea of choral music as 'high art' in the Western tradition, and the aesthetics of the Renaissance."
Now in its second season, The Mirandola Ensemble has performed dozens of professional level choral concerts in the Twin Cities area and appeared on Minnesota Public Radio. True to its mission statement, we promote the idea of choral music as high art with some of the best professional choral singers in the field. With innovative programming featuring rare and beloved pieces from the Renaissance canon, as well as new pieces composed especially for the group, the Mirandola Ensemble has cultivated a reputation for choral excellence.
In addition to continuing to carry out its mission of bringing the best in choral performance to the Twin Cities, The Mirandola Ensemble has a special goal this year; to record our first professionally produced album. This is a serious goal requiring serious finances, but this accomplishment will enable the Mirandola Ensemble to move to the next stage of our development and start to create a national presence.
We are grateful for your donation!
Thank you, and we hope to see you at our Christmas concerts! www.themirandolaensemble.org
