MINNESOTA VALLEY MENS CHORALE

Now in its ninth season, the Minnesota Valley Men's Chorale performs a repertoire of sacred and secular pieces, spirituals and show tunes. The Chorale is directed by Steven O. Boehlke, past recipient of the Minnesota Choral Director of the Year and the F. Melius Christiansen Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota (ACDA-MN).

The MVMC is fully supported through a combination of member donations, audience contributions, and community sponsorships.

Our major fundraising goals for 2011-2012 include:

- Commissioning a new work by renowned composer David Dickau, which we’ll premiere next year to commemorate our 10th season;
- Acquiring new risers to accommodate our growing number of singers; and
- Expanding our successful Minnesota Valley High School Male Choral Festival, which we launched last spring.
