The Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra, “an instrumental voice for the GLBT community," works to premiere new music by Minnesota composers.

The Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra (originally "Minnesota Philharmonia") is Minnesota's GLBT Community Symphony Orchestra and was the first so-identified orchestra in the USA. Founded in 1993 by Kevin Ford, the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is now in the midst of its 19th Concert Season. This year, we welcomed Maestro Jacob Sustaita as the MPO's new Music Director and Conductor.
