MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF CHARTER SCHOOLS

The MN Association of Charter Schools (MACS) has been the convener of the charter school community and the public policy voice of the charter schools in Minnesota since its founding in the early 1990s. The Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that invites all organizations and individuals who support the mission and purposes of the Association to join us in our cause. As an organization, we are committed to promoting innovation, quality and accountability in Minnesota’s public charter schools.

Today, the Association focuses its work on advocacy and public policy issues, building the capacity and providing support to those in leadership roles, and doing resource brokering and developing cooperative programs with other organizations to assist charter schools and the charter school movement.

The work of the Association is directed by a Board of Directors, and it is managed and implemented by a staff of three and member volunteers who serve on committees, task forces and working groups.
