www.metroblooms.org Metro Blooms teaches more people how to install raingardens (5600 so far), and installs more raingardens (70 just this year) than anyone we know. Our raingardens keep millions of gallons of water from polluting lakes and streams. We also build community and beautify the neighborhoods by engaging 82 volunteers to evaluate almost 1,000 nominated gardens in 2012.

Metro Blooms leads the way because we show people how they can make a direct impact in their own community. We are breaking new ground by working with whole communities to multiply the benefits of raingardens, native plantings, downspout redirection, rainbarrels and other strategies.
