Minnesota FoodShare's annual March campaign is the largest food and fund drive for food shelves in the state of Minnesota.
Supporting the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency's food shelf helps to support hunger relief in Scott County now and in the future. Help us to prevent hunger by making a donation to the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency's food shelf during March FoodShare.
For every dollar raised our food shelf can purchase $9.00 worth of food. Please help to contribute to our overall goal of raising $40,000 for our food shelf during March 2012. Additionally, cash donations allow our food shelf to purchase fresh fruit & vegetables, meat, and dairy products, which are extremely important to provide balanced nutrition to the individuals we serve.
You can also contribute by donating food to our food shelf. Our goal for March 2012 is to collect 80,000 lbs of food. This will feed roughly 950 families living in Scott County. Some of the items we are continually in need of include:
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
