Your donation will go to fund Community Action Duluth's Circles of Support Program. The program builds community across race and class lines

With drastic cuts in essential services and programs that help people who need it most, I felt compelled to do my part. I am running Grandma's Marathon here in Duluth, Minnesota on June 18, 2011, to help bring awareness and funding to Community Action programs. The Circles of Support program intentionally brings people who are from different classes, and races together, in order to build community and help those who are struggling rise out of poverty.

I am inspired to run Grandma's Marathon by those who have gone through the program, and have come out of poverty with a much brighter future.

Right now, unique programs like this are needed more than ever!
