Maple River AAA Foundation

PURPOSE

The Maple River Academics, Arts, and Athletics Foundation was organized in 2000. The purpose of the foundation is to financially assist the needs of the Maple River students in the areas of Academics, Arts & Athletics. By providing some additional assistance, we will improve and strengthen the educational system of our School District 2135.

COMMITMENT
It is the goal of the Foundation to:
- Provide an educational experience not provided in the curriculum

- Provide every student with the opportunities to develop their full potential.

- Develop lifelong attitudes in the areas of Academics, Arts & Athletics.

- Provide leadership and emotional skills that help develop well-rounded student citizens.

WHY WE NEED A FOUNDATION

The increase in student participation in the curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities will continue to put financial strain on the district budget. It is encouraging to see more students taking advantage of these opportunities, and it is important to stay competitive on the state and local levels, while keeping in mind that student participation and development is the number one goal.
