Luther Seminary, located in St. Paul, is a community centered in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a place where theological learning is engaged with heart, mind and spirit.

Luther Seminary listens to the needs of the 21st century church and responds by sending leaders trained with a deep biblical and missional understanding to lead and serve in God's world. It is rooted in the mission to educate leaders for Christian communities called and sent by the Holy Spirit to witness to salvation through Jesus Christ and to serve in God's world.

Tens of thousands of pastors, lay people and church professionals throughout the world use Luther Seminary's online resources each month. Hundreds take part in conferences and continuing education workshops each year.

Luther Seminary is the largest of the eight ELCA seminaries. It educates nearly one-third of ELCA pastors and nearly half of its rostered, lay professionals.
