Love To Grow On provides learning, opportunity, values and encouragement to children and their families. We are building on the wonders of childhood by creating environments in which children can explore, make discoveries and get messy! Our qualified and dedicated team of educators provide rich learning opportunities for children from infancy through 5th grade. Our organization is a non-denominational values-based program. We encourage cooperation, peace-making, empathy, forgiveness and respect. Our approach to early childhood education is also inspired by the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy. We believe children have more than a hundred languages to express their growing understanding of the world around them. Through paint, clay, collage, drawing, puppetry, music, dance, dramatic play, explorations with nature and light and shadow, and many other methods, children can each find their own voice. Free dance and Spanish classes are provided to the children as well as a multitude of materials and experiences. We support families who are on county assistance as well as those struggling to make ends meet. One of our big goals is the development of a scholarship fund. With help from donors, we will be able to ensure our services are available to all regardless of income.
