Linda Oakes Warner lost her battle with cancer, but will always be remembered for her ability to live well, laugh often and love much. Her golden retrievers were her children, and she cherished them and they her. Linda's beloved blonde golden, Sadie, also lost her life to cancer within three months after Linda left us. So to honor both Linda and Sadie, this fundraiser has been established to help others in remembrance of them. Our goal is to raise a full $5000 sponsorship for a new Helping Paws puppy, named Alta. We feel it is more than coincidence that Alta shares the same name as Linda's mother, Alta, who passed away in 2007.
