We're climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and raising money for a great organization!
John and Christina are climbing to the top of Africa! This fall, they'll start their trip to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. They've decided to use the adventure to raise money for Up with Downs, a nonprofit family-support group dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.
This organization is particularly meaningful to John and Christina. John's nephew, Tate, is an incredible little boy who has Down syndrome. Tate is a special boy to all who know him, and this is a wonderful opportunity to support a a great organization that truly has a positive impact on families like Tate's.
John and Christina are setting off on the trip to the summit with other members of John's family, and the group has set a goal of raising $5,895, a dollar for every meter of Kili's height. Please consider supporting us on our journey and contributing to this worthy organization! (Contributions are to Arc West Central, an advocacy group that will pass the contributions to Up with Downs. All contributions are tax deductible).
