I wish I could tell you the stories of each and every one of the teens I have met in Circle of Friends or at the teen centers or in Kids First. They are teens that are missing something. It may be a parent, it may be a caring adult that they know they can rely on, it may be as basic as food and clothing or their own bed. People don't realize that we have teens hurting out here in the suburbs and rural MN. They deserve a chance to be heard, to have a passion that can blossom into a career, they deserve free programming that gives them opportunities to explore art, music, cooking, sports and yes, just a place to hang out with friends.
