When Matthew Logelin's wife passed away in March 2008 only 27 hours after the birth of their baby daughter Madeline, Matt began to receive support from all over the world to help him through this difficult time. The Liz Logelin Foundation was set up by Matt and a team of volunteers in Liz's honour to help new widows and widowers with young families. Matt often hears of needy people through his blog www.mattlogelin.com - a website he originally set up to document Liz's pregnancy but one which soon became his support system after her death.
