Your gifts help us keep the cost of Kantorei's concert tickets the lowest of all professional-caliber choirs in the Twin Cities, making our music accessible to more people. Contributions help us buy music scores, hire recording engineers, pay our artistic director Axel Theimer, and secure great performance venues like the amazing Saint Paul Seminary Chapel. Last year you helped raise $1,845 for Kantorei’s music!

Kantorei has had tremendous success this year. Earlier this month, Kantorei released its best album yet. This fall, we learned that our artistic director, Axel Theimer, will be honored with the F. Melius Christiansen Lifetime Achievement Award from ACDA-MN, the choral directors association. In June, MRAC awarded Kantorei a $10,000 Arts Activities Support grant for its regular season concerts. Finally, we’ve set an ambitious budget goal of $60,000 this year to help us fulfill our mission.
