Affiliated with JRLC, JRERF supports interfaith policy research and public education to further the cause of social justice in Minnesota.
Very few institutions in our public life bring together the latest research from the social sciences with centuries-old religious teachings. JRERF does just that.
Formed in 1982 to support the non-lobbying activities of the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition, JRERF supports policy research, public education, conferences, internships, and fellowships to further interfaith relations and social justice in Minnesota.
JRERF recently supported JRLC's research on Poverty, Human Trafficking, and Payday Lending.
Influential work on criminal justice, health care, taxation, metro development, poverty reduction, hate crimes, agriculture and rural life, human rights, ethics in government, affordable housing, Native American rights, ecology, judicial fairness, and more have been made possible because of gifts to the JRERF.
Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, and Islamic leaders affiliated with the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition (JRLC) guide the work of JRERF. We consistently find common ground and produce solid policy recommendations.
Minnesota's civic climate is strengthened by this important cooperative, interfaith organization.
We welcome both general operating gifts and legacy gifts for our endowment fund.
