ISAIAH - Ninety congregations acting together to achieve social, economic and racial justice in Minnesota.

Throughout history, ordinary people have stood together to make long-lasting changes for the common good. ISAIAH is auto mechanics and ordained clergy, business owners and bookkeepers, homemakers and university professors. We are moved by faith to act for justice. We are called to transform the world and to establish racial and economic justice. We provide intensive leadership training and mentoring. Our leaders (volunteers) work together, building powerful relationships with one another and community decision makers to reverse the injustices impacting our lives and the lives of our neighbors. We are a multi-issue organization working on local, city, regional, statewide and national issues. Issues are chosen by our members and leaders and include: • quality education • access to healthcare • safe and affordable housing • transportation and jobs • promoting human rights • uniting communities In each of these we seek to improve the common good and address economic and racial inequity. Acting together, we are bringing to life the prophet Isaiah's words, "You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in." (Isaiah 58:12)
