IRISH FAIR OF MINNESOTA
Presenting the world's best Irish performers, supporting local Irish cultural organizations and reaching out to new immigrant communities.
Each summer during the 2nd weekend of August, Harriet Island in Saint Paul comes alive with all things Irish: music, dance, sports, children's activities, workshops, storytelling, food, seminars, theater, Irish dogs, sheep herding exhibitions and more. The Irish Fair of Minnesota provides expression for all things Irish and links the past, present and future of Irish culture in Minnesota and throughout the world.
To make the festival accessible to all and attractive to folks of all ethnic backgrounds. This enables us to share the history and cultural of Ireland and the Irish who have emigrated throughout the world with nearly 100,000 people each year. With minimal paid staff and over 400 hundred volunteers providing approximately 5000 hours of time, we produce a wonderful festival and, if there is a surplus at the end of the year, we share it with local Irish cultural organizations and new, non-Irish immigrant groups.
To continue to produce the festival and provide opportunities to see International and great local entertainment we need your help! Please make your donation today.
