The Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project (IARP) connects Iraqis and Americans in innovative art, education, and cultural exchange programs. Working with our partner organization the Muslim Peacemaker Teams, we empower Americans to see beyond stereotypes and media bias of Iraqis, Muslims, and people of the Middle East. Through art and service-learning education, we help Americans build personal and cultural connections that form the substance of peace and change war's political and cultural enablers.

    The disastrous human toll of the Iraq War and the political and cultural ills that enabled the war will not simply go away; help IARP launch a healing process for both Iraq and the U.S. that involves discussion with the other, reflection on the war, mourning, and action to heal and change the war's enablers.
