Interfaith Minnesota

The Minnesota Council of Churches has launched www.mninterfaith.org as an on-line interfaith community center. It is guided by these principles:

• We are all part of the same creation
• We all have the right to practice our religions
• We see an intimate link between faithfulness to God and love of neighbor
• We believe that by coming together we lay the foundation for renewed communities

By joining the Minnesota Council of Churches interfaith efforts you connect with the broadest network of faith traditions in the state. In times of crisis we act quickly together. The Minnesota Council of Churches represents you when we respond to catastrophes with interfaith prayer services or respond to hateful events with public statements.

Our strength lies in decades of relationship building, over meals, in dialogues, and by working for justice together. Our Taking Root program organizes interfaith teams to welcome refugee arrivals. Through the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition, co-sponsored by the Minnesota Council of Churches and Jewish, Muslim, and Catholic partners, you bring a powerful interfaith voice to the state Capitol.
