ICA provides food and financial assistance in the communities of Minnetonka, Hopkins, Excelsior, Deephaven, Shorewood, Greenwood & Woodland.
ICA’s clients are your neighbors who find themselves struggling to make ends meet. Most of our clients work, but do not make enough money to cover the basic needs of their families. Some are able to reestablish financial stability rather quickly, while others require ongoing assistance and support. We offer hope to our neighbors in need by providing food, financial assistance and employment services. Our goal is to uphold the dignity of each person we serve as they strive for self-sufficiency, sharing in this ongoing work in partnership with the congregations, organizations, businesses and individuals in our communities. We serve over 800 families per month via ICA’s Minnetonka, Excelsior, and Mobile Food Shelves in the seven communities from Hopkins to Shorewood.
ICA is supported by 36 partner congregations and over 120 business partners. We are also supported by a wide variety of civic organizations, schools, and fraternal organizations. Our citizens and communities have embraced ICA’s mission and support has been evident during our 40+ years of serving neighbors in need.
