Industries, Incorporated was founded in 1967 by a group of families who shared a vision to support people with disabilities in participating in community life. They determined that one way to accomplish this vision was to develop a means of assuring that the people had the opportunity to have meaningful work in the communities in which they live. Through this vision, Industries, Incorporated grew into a successful program serving over 200 clients of all levels per year from counties including Isanti, Kanabec, Chisago, Mille Lacs, Pine, Aitkin, Sherburne, St. Louis, Winona, Stearns, Hennepin, Ramsey, and Benton. Our clients perform work at their highest level of independence in center-based setting and community-based settings. We currently provide center-based work opportunities for 20 customers including packaging, assembly, torquing, sorting, shredding, etc.; and community-based work opportunities at 34 community sites including janitorial and housekeeping, lawn care, shredding, light clerical, etc. We are developing our own line of custom wood products, notebooks, and cards.
