Each year hundreds of animals in the lakes area are abandoned, lost or can no longer stay with thier original owner. At the shelter of the Humane Society of the Lakes we provide a safe, caring temporary home for pets as they await a match for a forever home.

We are a no-kill shelter and care for the animals until they find a home. The shelter operates solely on donations. Volunteers provide crucial care and loving attention to the animals.

Your donation helps us provide the shelter, medical care and food needed for these homeless animals.
