Caring for the Elderly

Imagine being old and having no one to care for you.

Life is very difficult in Haiti. It is even more difficult for the elderly. With the average mortality rate of 49-52 years, many do not live to experience the pain of the aged.

But for those that do, life can be excruiatingly difficult. When basics of food, water, sanitation, shelter or human contact are missing from their lives, it can be an extremely lonely and sad time for them.

In Titanyen, Haiti we support a Christian group that puts God at the center of its mission by serving the elderly, and the handicapped by providing food, clean water, clothing and the gift of love through human contact.

Please prayerfully consider helping an elderly or invalid in need.

We work for the elderly and invalid by looking for a way to help them with food, water, medicine, housing, clothing and to help them to study the Bible.

"By the Grace of God we can somehow help all those we find on our way with the very little we have. It's sad that we can't help all in need in spite of our every efforts for there are so many we don't have enough to help them all. That is the reason that we started this project with the poorest of them first."
