As some of you know, I am honored to serve on the board of the Family Tree Clinic (www.familytreeclinic.org) located in the heart of Saint Paul. I love this clinic for many reasons but mostly for its dedication to its vision to eliminate health disparities through innovative, personalized sexual health care and education for diverse needs.

As a board member and supporter I’m committing to raising $500 for this grassroots staple in our community.

Family Tree Clinic is a non-profit clinic was Founded in 1971, that provides low cost, confidential, personalized and high quality reproductive and sexual health care to thousands of individuals every year. For every dollar spent they save us taxpayers, and the state, $5 through extremely cost effective preventive health care. In 2009 alone, Family Tree Clinic served 17,000 individuals, provided over 1,200 years worth of birth control, over 3,700 low cost STI tests, and over 10,000 teens and young adults with evidence-based and proven effective comprehensive sex education.

You can give now. Your gift in any amount will help Family Tree Clinic continue their work as a vital safety net to low income and uninsured Minnesotans.
