This holiday season, I am asking for your support for an organization I recently became involved with…the Minnesota Sinfonia.

Part of their mission (and the part I am most passionate about) is to bring music education programs to inner-city students at no charge to the school. Most of us grew up with strong music programs – band, orchestra, choir – so we know the value music can bring to education. The cool part is that the Sinfonia uses classical music to excite students about math, history, science, social studies and English...and it is 100% free for the schools.

Another really cool thing is that ALL of their concerts are free to the public. As a result, their concerts attract many first-time concert-goers, families with young children, and people from all walks of life.
