Hazelden looks to a future where no one suffers or dies from addiction - a disease that can be treated, managed and overcome.

We encourage you to give any amount - $10, $100, $1,000 or more - to support Hazelden's Youth Patient Aid Fund.

Today, the need for addiction treatment and recovery resources for youth is urgent and growing.

  • 1.5 million youth ages 12-17 meet the criteria for admission to alcohol treatment, but only 7% receive treatment.
  • 1.4 million youth ages 12-17 meet the criteria for admission to treatment for illicit drug abuse, but only 9% receive treatment.

Your support will assist patients and their families with the cost of treatment at Hazelden, helping to reclaim their lives and rekindle their dreams. With your help and a gift on Give to the Max Day, together we can strive toward our goal of reaching and helping exponentially more young people and their families.

Your work has assisted so many lives - including my own. The way of life you describe could make for a much, much happier world, if only more people adopted it. Thank you. God bless.

Hazelden was instrumental in my getting sober - 9/7/2007. They gave me the tools to start living a life worth living, and for that I am very grateful!

Thank you for saving my childs life. He went to 3 other treatment programs which never fully addressed his addiciton. He is in college now doing extremely well. Hazelden is number because they give their clients and their famiies all the resources for lifelong recovery that no one else in the industry has.Hazelden offers more than just excellent treatment. They offer lifelong recovery from addiction.

My son attended the Youth and Family Program and credits his life to Hazelden. After leaving Hazelden he attended an after care program in California and is 13 months sober. I cannot say enough positive things about the program, everyone who works there, and the outcomes. The parent program was phenomenal. Hazelden changed my family's life. Thank you so much.

Hazelden has always been there for our family. May daughter has many problems and has suffered for the last ten years with serious addictions and severe health complications. She has had two open heart surgeries to repair damage to her heart valves caused by infections from dirty needles. While she has not been helped by Hazelden, I know that when she is ready, Hazelden will try to help her. Her doctor told us that as long as she draws a breath there is always hope. My wife and I are dedicated to supporting those who want to fight the battle. We support recovery.

Hazelden completely changed my life almost 5 years ago. I am forever grateful for everything Hazelden has done for me, and in turn so many other people in my life. I am now in the field dedicating my life to helping others suffering from addiction. My brother Sean was also a patient at Hazelden years ago, but recently lost his battle to addiction. May he rest in peace.

Hazelden provided me with the training I needed to become an addictions therapist, through their Graduate School of Addictions Studies. After the training, I worked at Hazelden Center for Youth and Families, and witnessed there a level of professionalism and loving care from the therapists.... which helped create the miracles I also saw among the young people who came there...some willingly with hope already in their eyes... and others, who were not so sure, some who were actively resisting the idea...and all were helped along the path of recovery. I have been blessed to be a therapist there, and to witness these miracles. My wish would be for every young person who needs and seeks treatment, to be able to access it.
