Harrienger Family - Participants in the 2010 Vietnam Aid Expedition

We ventured to Viet Nam in 2000 to adopt our daughter Maddie. We became aware of the Catalyst Foundation while attending one of their culture camps. In 2006 Dwight participated in another Aid Expedition and learned about the challenges that some of the children and families are enduring. This trip will allow our family to help in a small way. Tammy will work on the health team. Our two daughters (Haley and Maddie) will help with the school team. Dwight will help renovate / build homes and a playground. We look forward to introducing Maddie to her birth country. We know that this trip will remind us that when you give, you get much more back in return. Part of the requirement is to raise funds for materials, medicine and food. Other costs such as travel and lodging are paid by each of the volunteers. Our goal is $ 3,000. Tax deductable donations are being accepted for project materials, food and specific items (Not Travel, lodging or food expenses which are being paid by the expedition volunteers). The funds go directly ot the Catalyst Foundation which is a 501 C-3 Non Profit, Organization Number = 31-1674605 to be used for this Expedition. SUMMARY: • WHO: The Catalyst Foundation- 81 people: Doctors, nurses, dentists, teachers, and other families. Specific Projects for This Expedition: • Medical and Dental exams for 800 patients • Hepatitis B vaccinations and Flouride treatments • Provide 100 bags of rice • Provide 100 bikes • 100 computers and other items • Renovate 5 homes • Build Playground Thank You !!
