My thoughts often go to Haiti and the 2010 January earthquake in which thousands died. With churches, schools and homes demolished, people have been living in camps and sleeping under makeshift tents surrounded by rubble and sewage. I think of these people often when I go to bed, which is clean and warm, because the conditions they are surviving under are truly unbelievable.

We continue to provide monthly education, food and clean water various area in Port-au-Prince. We pay shipping fees to send a cargo container of "Feed My Starving Children" food packets. Also in 2011 we donated $10,000 to Feed My Starving Children so they can buy the raw food ingredients they use in their packets.

My visits with poor Haitians convinced me that I always need to advocate for them and remember their needs. I have enclosed a giving envelope and ask you to share with our brothers and sisters in Haiti. The Lord will bless you for your gift.

    Donated in memory of LTC Daniel Holland, who was killed in Iraq in May 2006. Dan was an Army veterinarian who had done some relief work in Haiti, and who worked with and supported the Christian Veterinary Mission staff there.

    This donation was made in memory of Dorothy F. Adkins. Mom died on February 12, 2010. She was a supporter of Reiser Relief and was very concerned that those in Haiti be remembered. This donation was made by many friends and family who sent memorials.

    Anything that Father Reiser is involved with is magnificant and legitimate. The poor in Haiti need our help and we know this money will go to the people and not land in some bureaucrat's pocket.
