$20,000 Matching Funds Available - Reiser Relief Haiti Earthquake

Donor Matching Begins on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 am CST
Donations will be matched dollar for dollar on a first-come-first-serve basis

That means your $10 becomes $20, your $25 becomes $50 and your $100 becomes $200.

A total of $20,000 in matching funds have been made available to Reiser Relief Inc. for support of short-term relief and long-term recovery efforts in Haiti.

When does the Matching Funds For Reiser Relief Haiti Earthquake Relief begin and end?
Matching begins 11:00am CST on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 and will be available until matching funds ($20,000) are exhausted.

Who can participate?
Any individual or organization may donate. Donations through Razoo.com and GiveMN.org are tax deductible and irrevocable. Donations will not be refunded. Donations will be matched until the matching fund dollars of $20,000 is depleted.

Can a check be mailed to participate in the match?
Only online credit card donations made through "this fundraising page on Razoo/GiveMN" will be eligible for the match." and the "MG2010 RazooNIT: Reiser Relief Inc" also included.

How much of the donation will go to Reiser Relief Haiti Earthquake Fund?
Razoo's and GiveMN's funding partners will cover all transaction fees (Network for Good credit card fee rate is 4.75%) to ensure that 100% of the donations go to the Reiser Relief organization.

Is there a minimum donation?
The minimum credit card donation on Razoo and GiveMN is $10.

Is there a maximum donation?
There is no maximum donation limit on Razoo or GiveMN. If a donor with a sizable donation and would like to add to the match, contact Reiser Relief Inc. through our contact form.

How will donors know if the matching $20,000 funds have been depleted?
A current dollar amount of donations is displayed on the Haiti-Match-For-Reiser-Relief fund-raising web-page within both Razoo and GiveMN web application.

Reiser Relief is urgently seeking emergency funding. Priority needs for Haiti are food, water and medical supplies. Reiser Relief needs your support to help us meet the most critical needs of children and families affected by the earthquake in Haiti. The people of Haiti still very much need our help.

Your Donations:

100% of all donations will go directly to providing relief supplies and medical help to earthquake victims in Haiti.  Your donation will help us provide urgently needed medical attention, safe drinking water, and other necessities.

Short/Long-Term:

Your gifts will be used in providing essential services to aid in day-to-day survival and rebuilding efforts in Haiti. Reiser Relief Inc has built schools and orphanages, with cisterns to hold water and sanitary block and this would be the long term relief plan to rebuild them again for the children and families in Haiti affected by the earthquake.

Donations inadvertently made before Feb 3rd 11am CST are unable to qualify for the match, but we do thank very much for supporting our mission in Haiti.  The goal has been adjusted to reflect pre-match donations.
