The Grand Rapids Food Shelf acts as a safety net for families living on the edge of poverty.
All donations made to the Grand Rapids Food Shelf stay right here and help to provide food and hope to more than 800 families who use the food shelf each month.
Rural communities like ours are some of the hardest hit by the current economic crisis. Job losses, combined with the rising cost of housing, food and energy, puts tremendous stress on families already living on the edge. The Grand Rapids Food Shelf has struggles to keep the shelves full at these times of high demand. Your donation can help ensure we have enough food to restock our shelves in the months to come.
We can end hunger for local families, one meal at a time. For every dollar donated we can provide up to five nutritious meals to those who often have no where else to turn for help. Hunger negatively affects us all. Through your concern and action we can do something about it. The Grand Rapids Food Shelf provides a safety net for some of our most vulnerable citizens.
