Woe is a small township on the southeastern coast of Ghana, approximately 120 miles east of Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

The purpose of our trip is fourfold:

  • First, to complete a construction project (roof and flooring) at The Salvation Army Woe Corps, a facility that was begun more than 30 years ago.
  • Second, to teach “mission literacy,” a bible-based curriculum, to more than 600 school-age children at The Salvation Army Woe Primary School.
  • Third, to conduct five evangelistic meetings targeting youth.
  • Fourth, to allow God to work in our lives through the personal enrichment that comes from this type of mission trip This trip provides an opportunity to meet the spiritual and material needs of a community desperately in need

.  More than anything, we would value your prayers for us, our team, and those whose lives will be touched.  We are asking you to pray for safety, good health, smooth travel, lasting impact, and financial support.  Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God’s leading.  Without prayer, nothing will happen.

Beyond your prayers, a trip like this requires financial support.  I need to raise $1,000 by February 28.  We want to extend an invitation to you to participate.  If you would like to be apart of this mission trip through your financial support please use this page to contribute.

The people of Ghana and The Salvation Army thank you. All donations are tax deductable.
