Donations help support the animals at Gentle Touch Animal Sanctuary. Funds purchase vaccines, medicine, food, litter, medical care including spay/neuter surgeries, and other supplies needed for the basic care of the animals. Contributions are tax deductible.

As a no-kill shelter, Gentle Touch Animal Sanctuary rescues and places abandoned animals into permanent homes. About 98% of the cats/kittens/puppies/dogs that come into Gentle Touch are from local animal control agencies euthanasia lists. Each year between 300 and 500 animals come into the Sanctuary. These animals are provided with plentiful food and water, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a warm and comfortable home until they are adopted. Those few felines who cannot be properly socialized for adoption live at the Sanctuary. Gentle Touch is an all volunteer organization. Volunteers provide basic care and socialize the animals. Gentle Touch partners with Petsmart Luv-a-Pet Centers for adoption.

    Two of my 3 cats are from Gentle Touch, and the third would have been there had I not decided to keep him. No kill shelters are so necessary!
