July Open Your Heart Challenge

The July Open Your Heart Challenge is a way to inspire donations during the month of July, which will then be partially matched.

The Friends in Need Food Shelf serves the citizens of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park and Grey Cloud Island. Last year we served 26,000 people and we are expecting to serve around 30,000 this year. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and have been in existence since 1992. We have one paid Director, 120 volunteers and 16 Board members who give of their time to help their neighbors.

Besides the weekly food shelf, we also have a School Supply Program, a Thanksgiving Program, a Christmas Program and an Emergency Fund Program.
