Our program helps families & individuals in the Anoka County area with their transportation needs.

Free2B! responds to a critical service need in Anoka County by reducing one of the primary barriers to employment through car repair and car donation to individuals most in need. The goal is to help individuals and families that are economically disadvantaged by removing transportation barriers.

Since inception Free2B! has donated almost 800 cars and repaired over 3,000 vehicles for families in need.

In 2006, the Charities Review Council recognized Free2B! for meeting all sixteen accountability standards for a non profit agency. Free2B! was also awarded the 2006 Governor's Faith and Community Service Initiatives Best Practices Award. In 2007 Free2B! received Nonprofit Excellence Award, Honorable Mention from the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. In 2008 tptMN produced a documentary on car donation called “Restoring Hope One Car at a Time” using Free2B! as the exemplary program. In 2009, Free2B! has received the Metro North Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Service Award.
