Providing food, hot meals and practical resources for recently unemployed families and the underserved population
Food in the Hood is a program that provides hot meals for the hungry, groceries for families in need and practical resources for those who are underserved.
Every month we serve more than 1000 people with enough groceries to feed their family for 2 weeks. In addition, we provide opportunities for service for our client guests. We are volunteer driven and we're excited to announce that more than 60% of our volunteers are clients guests who are receiving food. We don't require volunteerism among our client guests but they willingly choose to give back anyway and with this comes the dignity and significance necessary for them to regain their sense of personal value and esteem.
Our grocery distributions are every 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of the month from 6-8:00 pm
We are located at Cedarcrest Church 1630 E. 90th St. Bloomington, MN 55425.

All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
