Over the past 20 years, The Flying Foot Forum has produced more than 30 spectacular works for the stage that have toured worldwide and been met with standing ovations, sold out houses and rave reviews. Our onstage work is certainly the most visible and well-known aspect of what we do which is very satisfying. But equally as unique and remarkable as our performance work, is our one of a kind, unusually diverse educational outreach program.

In 2013-14 we will spotlight this program by diving down the rabbit hole into one of our most ambitious and far-reaching works thus far. Our spectacular Alice in Wonderland will create a more direct link between our educational programs and the work we do for our audiences by developing a new promenade-style, participatory Alice in Wonderland. As part of this innovative performance, we will carry what we do in the classroom directly into our performances to bring the two worlds together. Students and community members will learn parts of the show to perform with us in advance and audience members coming off the street will also have opportunities to sing with us, play croquet, participate in a dance-off, and polka 'til they drop, all while helping Alice to make her way through Wonderland. Aimed at people of all ages, it is an exciting story that will happen all around the audience told through virtuosic performances. But it is also a dance party, a Balkan and Celtic rock concert, a game night and a spectacular community adventure all in one glorious night out.
