Millions of people are facing starvation in the Horn of Africa due to the worst drought since the 1950's.

  • Twelve million Somalis, Kenyans, and Ethiopians are starving due to the worst drought since the 1950s.
  • FIGHT THE FAMINE in the Horn of Africa

Kids Against Hunger of Central Minnesota is hosting an all day packaging event to provide 500,000 meals to refugees from Somalia. The Dadaab refugee camp is now home to more than 90,000 people and the numbers grow daily. We are looking for 1,500 volunteers to package this nutritious food and need to raise $50,000 to purchase the food ingredients. The event will take place at the Sauk Rapids Sr. High School on December 3, 2011. Please help us by making a donation today. More than 30,000 children, under the age of 5, have perished in the past 90 days due to starvation. Please help to end the crisis in Somalia.
