The Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group (FRNNG) serves Minneapolis residents living between 42nd Street E and E. Minnehaha Parkway, and between 2nd Ave S and Cedar Ave.

FRNNG is a volunteer, non-profit organization that depends on contributions of neighborhood residents to continue to serve Field, Regina and Northrop. Since 1965, FRNNG has been working to enhance and build upon the FRN neighborhoods in south Minneapolis. Today the organization has a variety of committees and initiatives that work to serve the neighborhood and provide valuable resources.

Some examples of current projects include:

  • Renovations to McRae Park and Recreation Center
  • Grants for security lighting
  • Garden projects at local elementary schools
  • Night on 48th St
  • Home loan programs
