A Center for the Arts sponsors a wide range of programming, including live theatre, movies, a variety of music, professional and local dance companies, visual arts exhibitions and festivals, numerous workshops and literary events.

A Center for the Arts is about people – artists and audiences. It’s about building partnerships in the community and the region. It’s about creating opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to learn, to grow and to experience the world through the arts. It’s about doing all of that in a rural community where sometimes there are limited resources and fewer people and less access than in a metropolitan area.

The mission of A Center for the Arts is to provide the best possible arts experiences that inspire imagination, creativity, curiosity, and learning.

    Fergus Falls can be very proud of what's happening here in the arts. Lots of hard work and financial commitment from many people have resulted in a place where people's souls can be fed in a variety of ways.

    OMG we just advanced to the 43rd slot...then I was reading the guidelines and they say that whoever is in the 32nd position will receive a gift of $1,000...who knows? 43?/32? anything is possible in the 11th hour!
