A year ago the Dream Act was blocked in the Senate, across the nations reports came out of depressed and suicidal teens. Then harsh laws were passed in Alabama and other states. In Minnesota alone, thousands have had their lives torn apart by the deportation of non-criminal, hard-working, family members.

Minnesota Immigrant Freedom Network is preparing to deliver some hope and restore faith in 2012.

• Our training programs will help parents and students learn that higher education is whithin their grasp.
• Our community development work will connect immigrants with life-long citizens to build trust and friendships in order to solve complex problems in their neighborhood and state.
• Our web-based resources will connect immigrants to quality services and businesses while helping immigrant allies understand the core issues and how to get involved.

BUT to a healthy start to 2012, we need your LOVE!

We have just received notificaiton that 2 significant grants will help us kick-off 2012, but we cant coundt on foundations alone. We need partners because:

• We have a few bills to put to rest to get into the BLACK
• We need to move beyond "Grant-Cycle-Dependancy"
• We want to impact families and transform our communities.
