The University of Minnesota chapter of Pre-med American Medical Association will be hosting a Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event!!
University of Minnesota Pre-Med American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is hosting a MobilePack event for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) on September 30th 2011 at the University of Minnesota Field House. We need to raise money to help fund the MobilePack event and to pay for the supplies (food, packaging, and shipping). Our goal is to raise $240,000 which is enough to package 1,000,000 meals. There are currently millions of children in the world waiting for their next meal from FMSC, especially areas hit by natural disasters, poverty, war, and epidemic diseases. Our group Pre-Med AMSA wants to promote community and giving back among the young adults on campus, along with instilling the values needed to become a future physician.
This event will take place over two days on campus, and will involve over 600 volunteers. When you make a donation, Pre-Med AMSA will advertise and put your company logo on the flyers, event invitations, press releases, and t-shirts. Your donation will save lives, bring the community together, and serve to promote your company. Attached is a 501(3) (c) form for the FMSC IRS tax exemption. Make checks payable to Feed My Starving Children with our group name (U of M Pre-med AMSA) in the memo. If you have any further questions, please email Holly Bui at buixx047@umn.edu .
