Manage by… Operating under the legal umbrella of the Minnesota Community Foundation. Distribute by… Giving funds from the earnings of its investment fund. These are awarded as grants for creative programs and projects, which fill unmet needs and enrich our lives. Since 1994, the Fairmont Area Foundation has awarded 147 grants totaling $668,575.
