EYE-LINK FOUNDATION
A US registered nonprofit
Eye Link is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our role is to provide grants (at no cost to the recipient) for those requesting assistive technology and associated training. Financial resources or educational background should never be a barrier to the acquisition of assistive technology and training. Special adaptive software and hardware components have been created to provide Blind people access to all forms of information.
A blind or visually impaired person in Minnesota only has a few ways to get needed technology if they cannot afford it themselves. The can apply to Minnesota State Services for the Blind, ask help from family and friends, or they can contact their local Lion's Club. Many requests for help from Minnesota State Services for the Blind are denied due to a shortage in state funding. If a person has applied for help from SSB and has been denied, they may contact The Eye-Link Foundation for a grant application.
