I support ARENA Dances and the arts because I believe the arts and accessibility to them enriches everyone's lives. As a kid, I ha da hard time finding my "niche". Sports were definitely not my strong suit and while I was a good student, I was not always necessarily engaged by the academics. Then I became involved in theatre and found what I had been looking for. I found friends with common interests, a reason to keep my grades up and a curiosity and desire to learn that I had not had before . . . I stayed involved in theatre through junior high and high school and into college. In college I began taking voice and dance and broadened the scope of my interests and found that there really wasn't an area that didn't somehow positively effect the other aspects of my life. The same is true today - working in commercial real estate in downtown Minneapolis, our goal is to make this community a better one to live, work and play in. Having a community that bustles from 9-5 with business and rolls right into the evening and weekend with theater, concerts, performances, fine dining, ball games - all of it makes Minneapolis the tremendous city it is and a place I'm proud to call home.
