Hope Speaks!

Did you know children being home for the summer means a higher food budget for families who are already struggling to make ends meet? Hope Speaks! is a supplemental summer food program for families with children sponsored by the Eagan & Lakeville Resource Center. This year, Hope Speaks! will be a one day food and fund drive on the first full day of the first week of summer vacation,
Monday June 11 from 9 am – 7 pm.

Please join us by making a donation now!

Summer always brings a drop in food shelf donations and an increase in need. We ask that you encourage your workplace, school, faith community or organization to engage in this drive for kid-friendly summer foods and funds.

We exist to serve those in need and to eliminate hunger in Dakota County

The Eagan & Lakeville Resource Centers is the largest food shelf in Dakota County. The Eagan & Lakeville Resource Centers have grown from serving 38 families per month in 2005 to serving nearly 1,000 families per month today. Over half of our clients are children.

How do we succeed? We rely on the generosity of hundreds of people who volunteer, donate food and make a financial contribution.
