501FIT Caring For Clients and Neighbors

The tornados of Sunday, May 22nd that impacted North Minneapolis cause us to take pause and realize life is short and more so change change in a moment. This week, I have heard from 2 clients that live in the tornado disaster zone in North Minneapolis. Laurie W and Kevin W we are glad you are well even though your houses and neighborhood took a hit in the storms. Kevin W brought his two lovely children to our club on Wed Night (May 25th) for a shower and light to do their homework - they have been without power and hot water for days yet came in with an optimistic attitude. It warmed my heart to see the two young kids smile from ear to ear after a hot shower - Makes me realize my fitness club is about more than fitness - it's a culture of people that care not only about themselves but each other. I was happy to provide light and showers to Kevin and his kids but knew that wasn't enough - I want to do more and hope fellow 501FIT clients will offer their support too. Thank you!
